These General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries made by Mey Handels GmbH to consumers (Section 13 BGB – German Civil Code).
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to his or her commercial or freelance professional activity.

Offer and conclusion of contract

The products presented in the online shop shall not be deemed a legally binding offer, but qualify as a non-binding online catalogue. By clicking on the “submit order” button, you place a binding order for the items contained in your shopping cart. You will receive an automatic email confirmation of receipt and acceptance of your order immediately after submitting it. With this email confirmation the contract comes into effect.

Cancellation policy

Right of cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within a two-week period without stating a reason. The two-week period shall commence on the day that you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, have/has taken delivery of the last partial delivery or the last item. To comply with the time limit it is sufficient that you notify us of the exercise of your cancellation right before expiry of the cancellation deadline.

Censequences of cancellation

Should you cancel this contract, we shall be obliged to refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except any additional costs incurred as a result of selecting a different mode of delivery to the least expensive standard delivery offered), without delay and at the latest with fourteen days of receiving notice of your cancellation of the contract. Reimbursements shall be made using the same means of payment used by you for the original transaction, unless a different means of payment has been expressly agreed with you; on no account will you be charged any fees in connection with this reimbursement. We shall be entitled to withhold refund payments until we have received the returned goods or you have furnished proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier. You must return the items concerned to us without delay, at the latest, however, within fourteen days from the date of your notifying us of your cancellation of this contract. To comply with the deadline it is sufficient for you to return the goods within the fourteen-day period. We shall bear the costs of returns. You shall only be liable to pay compensation to us for loss of value where said loss of value is caused by handling the goods in a way other than is necessary to ascertain their nature and functioning.

Prices and delivery terms

The prices stated on the product pages are inclusive of statutory VAT in Germany and other price components. Additional shipping costs are clearly shown on the product pages, in the shopping cart system and on the order page. COD payments incur an additional charge of € 2, which the forwarder collects on the spot. No other taxes or costs are incurred.

We will ship your order via DHL, delivery Monday-Saturday and deliveries can also be made to Packstations (within Germany).

Free shipping for orders over 50 euros.
We want you to enjoy shopping with us. As a small thank you, we offer free shipping within Germany for orders over € 50! For orders under € 50, we charge a flat rate shipping fee of just € 3.95.

Outside Germany, orders over € 100 are shipped free of charge. The flat rate shipping fee for orders with is € 5.95 to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria.The flat rate shipping fee for orders is € 7.95 to the France, Ireland, United Kingdom.

Deliveries are usually effected while stocks last and on acceptance of your order within 1-4 working days. If you choose prepayment, the delivery period begins from receipt of the full invoice amount.

You may exercise a right of retention only if your counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.
We reserve the right to charge €10 should you provide an incorrect account number, bank sort code and/or account holder name, or if the amount cannot be debited from your account due to insufficient funds. In the event of a negative credit check, Mey Handels GmbH reserves the right to exclude certain methods of payment. Data processing is subject to the provisions of the applicable Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG – Federal Data Privacy Act) and the Telemediengesetz (TMG – Telemedia Act). Within the scope of order processing, we are entitled to store and transfer the data necessary to effect the transaction to affiliated entities and service partners contracted by us as order data processors in accordance with the Federal Data Privacy Act (BDSG).
