Advantages of the Superfine Organic series
The Superfine Organic series is ideal for anyone who values premium materials against their skin. For this series, we use a very fine, exceptionally soft and certified premium organic cotton.

We use super-fine, certified organic cotton.

The Series is also certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® as well as the GOTS label. The basics are manufactured entirely in Europe.
Information on existing packaging
Sustainability and social responsibility
„We attach great importance to sustainability and social responsibility.“
What lies behind it
Sustainability is embedded at management level at mey and is coordinated by a dedicated corporate responsibility department. Our Code of Conduct applies to mey as well as to our suppliers and partners. Defined social and environmental standards are verified through certifications, audits and regular on-site visits.
The Superfine Organic Series also has concrete evidence to support this:
• GOTS certification ensures that strict environmental and social criteria are met throughout the certified textile supply chain.
• OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 confirms that the textile components have been tested for potentially harmful substances.
• The fabric used in the garments is manufactured in Germany; they are then produced in our European factories.
Why we are amending the statement
The wording used to date describes our fundamental commitment, but is, in itself, very general. In future, therefore, we will specify the actual certifications and their respective meanings.
Future wording
“GOTS and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified – ensuring proven environmental and social standards throughout the entire production chain.”
Affected items
Item 29 814 – Thong · Item 29 815 – mini briefs · Item 29 816 – american pants · Item 29 817 – panties · Item 29 818 – waist pants
GOTS environmental and social criteria
“GOTS certification guarantees compliance with the strictest environmental and social standards – throughout the entire production chain.”
What lies behind it
The Superfine Organic series is GOTS-certified. GOTS requires certification of the relevant stages of production, from the certified organic fibre right through to the finished product. The standard encompasses strict environmental criteria as well as human rights and social criteria. Compliance with these criteria is monitored by independent, accredited certification bodies.
Why we are amending the statement
The core content remains unchanged. To convey the effect of the certification more precisely in linguistic terms, we are replacing ‘guaranteed’ with ‘confirmed’ and omitting the superlative ‘strictest’.
Future wording
“GOTS certification confirms compliance with strict environmental and social standards – throughout the entire production chain.”
Affected items
Item 25 815 – spaghetti top · Item 25 816 – top · Item 26 815 – T-shirt · Item 26 816 – v-neck shirt · Item 28 815 – leggings
A clear conscience and long-staple organic cotton
“Nothing suits you better than a clear conscience. That is why we place great importance on sustainability and social responsibility.”
What lies behind it
This statement reflects our corporate commitment, which remains as valid as ever. We provide detailed information on our commitment to environmental and social issues in our CR Report and on our sustainability pages.
Why we are amending the statement
This general wording requires a more detailed explanation than is possible within the limited space on the back of the packaging. We will therefore, in future, focus on a specific and immediately understandable product feature.
The accompanying symbol – consisting of a globe and leaves – will also be removed, to avoid conveying a general impression of environmental friendliness without a direct explanation.
Future wording
“Carefully selected, long-staple organic cotton gives the fabric its luxurious fineness and a particularly soft feel against the skin.”
For Superfine Organic, we use particularly fine, long-staple organic cotton. The long, fine fibres enable us to produce an exceptionally fine yarn and contribute to the soft, skin-friendly quality of the Series.
Affected items
Item 25 815 – spaghetti top · Item 25 816 – top · Item 26 815 – T-shirt · Item 26 816 – v-neck shirt · Item 28 815 – leggings

“The extra long-staple, hand-picked organic cotton in premium Pima quality is only grown in very small quantities worldwide. This not only makes the cotton very exclusive, but extremely soft and skin-friendly, too.”
